DESCRIPTION:Youth across New York State are declaring Friday\, October 13 as the first ever “Seen Enough Tobacco Day” to protect themselves and other children from the billions of dollars of tobacco promotions in places where they and other youth can see and be influenced by them. The goal is to put an end to youth smoking and other tobacco use. \nTo honor this special day: \n\nTobacco-Free CCA and Reality Check of Alleghany\, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua will take part in Seen Enough Tobacco Day with a sidewalk chalk display at Olean Center Mall. They will chalk up the sidewalks with shocking tobacco statistics and why kids have seen enough tobacco marketing.\nCommunity members: Please come to this event and help raise awareness by sharing photos of the chalk messages on social media using #SeenEnoughTobacco. You can also pledge your support by signing the online Seen Enough Tobacco petition.\n\nChalking the Walk with shocking tobacco stats will tell the Olean community that youth in their region have “Seen Enough Tobacco.”
