E-cigarettes are an emerging challenge for public health. These devices are part of a growing landscape of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) that includes vape pens and e-hookahs.

This presentation will pinpoint the public health challenges of e-cigarettes in the U.S. including:

• Patterns of use among youth and adult
• Potential harmful and beneficial impacts at individual and population levels
• Advertising and marketing of these products, and
• Public health intervention

Keynote Speaker: Brian King, PhD, MPH, Deputy Director for Research Translation in the Office on Smoking and Health (OSH) at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
